Construction Skills Showcase

On the 8th of May 2014 the Construction department opened its doors to show the public some of the skills our students have to offer. The event took place on 3 sites (Barugh Green, STEM centre and the TLC) and saw activities including a brickwork competition and demonstrations and displays from 6 different trades.

The last photo shows the level 1 entrants in the Brickwork competition. They all did really well, but special congratualtions go out to Victoria Thornton who was declared winner of the event.
